Reading

We will be reading the story of the Hare and the Tortoise and practising the skill of summarising the main points of a story. 

 

Writing

We will be writing recounts of real life experiences using time connectives. 

Maths   

 

This week we will be learning to tell the time to o’clock, half past and quarter past.

 

 

Wider Curriculum

 

Religion and World Views:  We will be learning about the Hindu Namakarana and Humanist naming ceremony

 

PE: We will continue to do athletics

 

Music:  We will be playing rhythm patterns to a steady pulse

 

Art: We will be using the cardboard stamps we made to print on top of our pop art designs.
